latest news update,Jason Statham The Hero Of The Transporter, Transported To The Stardome;Jason Statham The Hero Of The Transporter, Transported To The Stardome-Jason Statham , The bold and confident star is the hero of the movie Transporter series which is a famous movie and liked by many people. The hero Statham has many fans being a good actor.Jason Statham is what you might call an accidental movie star.He never planned it. Never asked for it. Never studied acting."My philosophy is to never look too far beyond what you're doing right now," he said. "You take it as it comes."Lately it has been coming along very nicely. The 38-year-old Brit is a major movie action star thanks to the "Transporter" and "Crank" franchises. His girlfriend is Victoria's Secret modelRosieHuntington-Whiteley.His new action movie, "The Mechanic," in which he plays a well-paid assassin, opens Friday.
And he has almost singled-handedly made male-pattern baldness sexy.A man of few words, Statham said his film success is a result of doing things that made him happy.Like sports. He was a member of the British National Diving Team and finished 12th in the World Championships in 1992. He still has a swimmer's lean, cut body.He has studied mixed martial arts, a hobby with an obvious payoff in his current line of work.Early on, he made ends meet by hustling on the black market."I screwed around as a sportsman for many years, put money in my pocket selling jewelry and stuff on the street. I never thought they would be keys to an acting career, but there you go."An agent specializing in sports figures saw him diving, and soon he was a model for the French Connection clothing line.He then was sent to audition for Guy Ritchie's first film, "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels." Statham lacked acting experience, but his background as a hustler was just what Ritchie wanted for the role of Bacon, a con artist.Turned out the camera loves him. Onscreen, Statham exudes an effortless blend of machismo and sardonic humor. In "The Mechanic," a remake of a Charles Bronson film from the '70s, Statham plays a hit man who takes under his wing the unstable son (Ben Foster) of his long-time employer (Donald Sutherland). The film has some terrific stunts, including one moment when the two stars leap from the top of a high-rise tied to ropes.
